Piper thought her father’s disappearance was her biggest problem until she met Lambert and discovered her whole life had been a lie. But in the small town of Fosswell everyone lies, even the ones who are supposed to be dead.
When one particular empty coffin unearths a past heartache, Piper wants to help, despite the fact that her magical interference could lead to trouble. Her training isn’t going as well as she hoped, and Lambert is a tough taskmaster. He’s also stubborn, annoying, undeniably cute, and itching to leave. So when another clue to her father’s whereabouts points to Lambert’s homeland, Piper is eager to discover if it could provide the answer to both their problems.
Piper had hoped that finding her father would bring an end her problems, not throw up a bunch of new ones. Being back home and alone again was not how she’d pictured it ending.
Resuming her studies and trying to get back her normal teenage life hadn’t exactly worked out either. There was nothing normal about being a witch. She didn’t fit into her old life anymore, and the only thing she felt any connection to was Lambert, the boy she’d left behind in another dimension.
So when he turns up with bad news and begs her to go back, she is forced to admit that her only chance of happiness could cost her her life.
THE DEVILBLOOD TRILOGY
My name is Conner Lovell: werewolf and Hell escapee.
I wish I could say that meant I had my life back, but it would be a lie. Word got out about my return and the supernatural hierarchy weren’t best pleased.

Now I’m stuck killing demons to pay off a debt I didn’t even know I owed, alongside the one person I’d hoped to forget.

Oh, and to top it all off, turns out I’ve got a serial killer on my tail.
Yeah, my life’s a whole lot like Hell.
I might have escaped Hell, but it’s not done with me yet.
Kill one more demon and be a free man. That was the deal. But once the Assembly have their claws in you, it’s damn near impossible to escape.

To top it all, I’ve been stuck with a curse that’s eating me alive. Yeah, this werewolf didn’t see that one coming.
